Life-skills training
Residents participate in daily group meetings on topics such as personal finance, parenting, and recovery support in order to build important life skills needed to sustain a healthy life outside of the shelter.
Donation funded
The shelter is largely funded through community donations and local charities, including sales at Opportunity House Thrift Store.
